The most commonly asked question! Wedding language is definitely confusing to learn, but the two words you must learn the difference between is Coordinator and Planner. As knowing which one to choose for your wedding will be very important! Wedding Planner: Wedding Planners are all about the logisitics, vendor referrals, negotiating contracts, keeping track of your budget, attending site tours and menu tastings, picking out flowers, caterers, invitations, transportation and hotel room blocks, manages rehearsal, lastly oversees EVERYTHING on the wedding day! Wow that was alot! They will ensure the absolute least amount of stress, especially if you have a demanding job or you don't have great planning or organizing skills. A Wedding Planner's main job is to make sure your wedding is exactly what YOU want and pretty much your best friend from the day of your engagement! Typically, more expensive than a coordinator. Wedding Coordinator: Wedding Coordinators are also all about the logistics but on a shorter time frame! They come on board anywhere from a few weeks to several months prior to the wedding. They are the person behind the curtain making sure everything that YOU planned goes smoothly so that you can relax and actually enjoy your special day! They take all the research and hard work that you have done (figuring out caterer, florist, vendors, etc.) and turn them into a reality! Wedding Coordinators help create timelines (which often brides are confused about), do a final walk through, address any overlooked details (i.e forgetting to hire a coat check attendant and the time the sun sets), manage rehearsals and also oversees the Wedding Day! A Wedding Coordinator's main job is to make sure the wedding YOU planned is executed without a hitch and pretty much your best friend for a few months until the wedding! Typically, less expensive than a Wedding Planner. As you can see both are similar in making sure your wedding day goes off without a hitch! Cost, time and responsibilities are the key differences. There is no set time as every bride is different! But plan between 45 minutes - 1 hour :)

Most of the time people know that communication is important to any relationship! Most people do not know that communication also INCLUDES spiritual communication! This spiritual communication often gets left on the back burner and we end up with unsatisfactory marriages. We were created by God, for God and we need to reflect that selfless love onto our spouses. That is not always easy to do though! Stressful, busy, long work days certainly make it hard to find time to have dinner together let alone 5 minutes to pray together! You are choosing one person to love for the rest of your life, you love them so much and with that love you are vulnerable to getting hurt. Therefore, you must safeguard the marriage before it starts (during the engagement period) so that you will be prepared for how God calls you and your spouse during marriage. Your engagement period is a whirlwind of emotions; stress of planning, anxiety if this is the right guy for you, happy to finally be marrying the love of your life... plus, it is also the PERFECT time to set up a strong foundation of prayer for your marriage! Prayer strengthens your marriage, your hearts, your minds and provides guidance through tough times. It is the foundation that everything else is built upon. This does not mean that simply because you and your spouse pray together that your marriage will automatically be argument free or easy! Far from the truth! But it does offer a different perspective that marriage takes work, takes changes of hearts, takes patience and consideration of one anothers feelings and God can help provide those aspects. I want to help encourage you and your spouse in setting up a strong foundation so that when you pronounce your I Do's you will be ready to sacrifice your life and give selfless love. Please don't be consumed with stress and anxiety filled months of planning for one 16 hour day when you have a lifetime of sacrifical love ahead. Trust me! You can still have a beautiful wedding, just remember God should be at the center. Now I completely understand, that some brides may not be receptive of this! That is ok, what you do with any of the surprises I give you is completely up to you! If it ends up in the trash that is your choice. If you end up incorporating prayer into your relationship, that is amazing! I will not force you to grow closer to God rather encourage you and your spouse. Maybe, you are completely new to the concept of praying with your spouse and would like to learn more! My goal is to reach out to brides, not only providing them with a beautiful wedding day through stationery and coordinating but allowing their hearts to open up to the amazing journey of marriage that God has blessed us with. Throughout the time I am with you, here are several ways that I will encourage you and your spouse to grow closer to God: - little surprise gifts - devotionals / books - date night ideas / de-stress ideas - prayer cards / bible verses - Live & Recorded 15 minute prayers (sometimes couples like to be guided, others prefer to do them themselves, which is why I offer multiple ways, you choose the one that works best for you and your spouse!) - Personal stories shared with you how God truly does work in a Marriage I will always say a prayer before the Wedding ensuring that God's hand is present throughout the day, and working through me to make sure your wedding is amazing and the love for you and your spouse can be seen! :)

This will guide you to where prices can be found! :) This will also be fully be discussed in detail during the initial consultation, so that there is no confusion! If doing an over the phone or zoom consultation, a detailed price quote list will be emailed shortly after. Payment options: After the initial 25% non-refundable deposit of total is paid, you will have the ability of 4 installment payments over the course of several months. With the total being paid before the wedding. I chose to offer the 4 installment payments, as I know how stressful the wedding budget can be! Many brides can not afford paying a large lump sum at once, and often choose to not hire a wedding coordinator or planner to save more. I want to make it as stress free as possible while allowing brides not to worry that a stress free wedding costs to much :)

Yes, of course! I would love to help plan the honeymoon! Maybe you have an idea of where you would like to go, but are not very good at planning it out... in order to really get the most out of your honeymoon! Having all the details planned out before hand, especially travel time between destinations and locations of various adventures can surely save a lot of headache when in an unfamiliar place! This will be discussed in more detail during the initial consultation :)

People still want to celebrate this joyous occassion! Stress and challenges definitely are apparent more so than usual, here at E.H Weddings Pgh, I will help you navigate the challenges of Covid-19. As the Pandemic continues on, I will be monitoring daily changes to state travel restrictions, mask requirements, additional health and safety measures needed, and wedding guest counts as more people get vaccinated etc. And always keep you up to date on current information during our consultations or as new information is available!
